Jacob Eggers, Jon McLean, Connor Arendell and Robert "Bo" Hoag all earned spots in this week's Puerto Rico Open through the Monday qualifier on the TPC Dorado Beach East Course.

Eggers was medalist in the event, shooting 67 to beat the 84-player field. McLean and Arendell tied for second place with 68s each.

Hoag ended up part of a six-way tie for fourth place with 69. He needed three holes, but he prevailed in the six-for-one playoff for the final spot.

The Puerto Rico Golf Association also hosted a Friday qualifier for one spot in the field. That event was won by Jack Maguire.

Eggers played his college golf at Appalachian State, and he's had a few opportunities on the Mackenzie Tour, Web.com Tour and PGA Tour Latinoamerica, where he played one event this season.

Jon McLean is son of famous golf instructor Jim McLean. Jon is 29 and a product of Texas Christian University. This is his third-ever PGA Tour start.

The 25-year-old Connor Arendell went to the University of Central Florida and qualified for the European Tour in 2014.

Hoag, 27, went to Ohio State and played last year on the Mackenzie Tour.

Maguire, 21, was a stud for a short moment at Florida State before turning pro and making his PGA Tour debut this year at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
