Bubba Watson had a great week in Los Angeles. He got to hang out with Justin Bieber, who gave his son Caleb drumming lessons. He filmed an episode of the TV show "Girl Meets World." He went to an L.A. Clippers NBA game.

And, oh yeah, that all happened after Bubba Watson passed a kidney stone on Monday.

He explained after he capped his week with a second Northern Trust Open win in the last three years.

“So Sunday, I missed the cut at Pebble,” Watson said. “And that Sunday morning playing with the kids, I had to go take a bathroom break, and same thing. Red liquid came out. I said, 'This ain't right.'"

Watson has dealt with passing a kidney stone before, five years ago. He knew this could happen again someday.

“So we called the doctor, we called the tournament here," he continued. "They set me up with a place. I landed on Monday morning, went. Did a CT scan and 30 minutes after the CT scan, again, just downing water, thinking it's going to be the same thing.

“Five years ago he said there was one more in my system and obviously it decided this week. My baby came out I guess."
