Arccos Golf introduces Arccos Driver, a sensor for your longest club

Arccos Golf is trying to draw more people into its family of golf performance-tracking products, so the company is coming out with a sensor specifically geared to the longest club in the bag.

At the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Arccos announced the Arccos Driver sensor. When paired with your iOS device (sorry, still no Android) via Bluetooth, the sensor automatically tracks each drive you hit, providing statistical feedback in real-time using GPS technology. You can also compete against friends and other golfers in virtual driving contests, which is really more the aim of this product compared to the full Arccos set of 14 sensors that runs $300.

The product, which will retail for $60, sold out in a pre-order campaign, so you'll have to wait until the spring to get your hands on it.
