VIDEO: Swedish golfers play on ice-covered course

Sweden loves their golf, even when they're trapped in the throes of winter. But playing golf on ice? Well, that's even bonkers for them.

However, a pair of Swedish golfers decided to do just that and shared the experience on YouTube.

Jacob Grahn decided that he wouldn't be deterred by his local course being covered in snow and ice, so he and a partner teed it up. They brought some tools to help them play, including a power drill with a bit just wide enough to let them get a tee in the ground. They sometimes had to swing from tee boxes covered in a sheet of ice, but they managed to get through the ball and stay upright.

What turns out to be a potentially great benefit of playing on an icy course is the endless roll. It's just a matter of getting the ball on even the slightest downslope and the roll goes forever -- or, at least until there's no more ice.

It's hard to say that this is something we would do, but we're grateful these Swedish mavericks did.
