Stacy Lewis is getting married.

Boyfriend and University of Houston women's golf coach Gerrod Chadwell proposed to Lewis over Thanksgiving at the University of Arkansas, where Lewis attended. The pair were on campus for a Razorbacks football game against the University of Missouri.

According to Golfweek, Chadwell convinced Lewis to give him a campus tour despite the pouring rain that day. After finding her name on the campus senior walk, Chadwell, 38, proposed. The football game was a celebration with family and friends.

The pair have known each other for about a year, introduced thanks to former Arkansas, now Furman, women's golf coach Kelley Hester. At last year's Women’s Golf Coaches Association convention in Las Vegas, Lewis, 30, was on stage as part of her induction into the association's hall of fame, when Hester, having some fun with Lewis, asked if she was dating anyone. Chadwell, Houston's first-ever women's golf coach, was in the audience and worked some channels to express his interest to Lewis. And there you have it.
