On the heels of Tiger Woods' first American golf course design opening at Bluejack National near Houston, Woods' golf-course design firm's next U.S.-based project could be in Music City.

Dallas-based Beacon Land Development is planning on a 1,200-acre development, located 30 miles south of Nashville, that would feature a Woods-designed golf course, according to the Nashville Business Journal. The community, as one might guess, will also feature a music venue.

Beacon Land Development is the firm which hired Woods to redesign Bluejack National.

The bulk of the land for the proposed development is owned by Gary Baker, former owner of Bristol Motor Speedway and Fairgrounds Speedway. Pending proper approvals, construction on the development could begin in March or April 2016.
