VIDEO: Caddie is scared by sneaking drone, ready to knock it out of the air

Drones are becoming a regular thing on golf courses, particularly as owners want to find new ways to showcase their property. However, the unmanned vehicles are often so small that you really can't see them until they kind of sneak up on you. That's what happened to a caddie who became acutely aware of a drone as he was working with a player.

The caddie was standing near a golf cart as his player was working on his short game, when the looper noticed the buzzing, flying drone coming into view. He's not expecting it, so he makes a surprised turn toward the drone, ready to knock whatever he thinks it is out of the sky with one of his player's clubs.

Once the caddie realizes what he's scared of, he waves at the drone -- presumably toward the operator, who is elsewhere -- so as to say, 'Sorry that I almost ruined your drone.'
