Justin Rose took an indirect route to the hole on No. 18 in the final round of the Memorial on Sunday.

After hitting his tee shot in the fairway bunker at the 480-yard finishing hole at Muirfield Village G.C., Rose, a past Memorial winner, shanked his second shot right into a fan's head. Not good.

Fortunately, the fan would receive some medical attention and some attention from the Englishman, who checked on the fan after the shot and following the resulting up-and-down for par that put him in a playoff with David Lingmerth.
