VIDEO: Someone spliced ‘Jurassic World,’ ‘Altered Course’ into a single ad

Golf Channel's new competition show, "Altered Course," may well only get one season. The show is potentially on the chopping block as the company realigns its priorities toward live programming, including airing tournaments and shoulder news shows. The change in priority has cost 30 people -- about 3 percent of the Golf Channel workforce -- their jobs.

However, the show will still air, and someone, probably a golf fan, decided to spoof the ads Golf Channel has made to promote the ill-fated show.

Someone has spliced together some footage promotion the film "Jurassic World" with the "Altered Course" ad to get some funny results, making it seem like the extreme golf competition was played alongside fleeing tourists and frightening dinosaurs.

Then again, it's hard to imagine that, if pterodactyls were still alive, anyone would volunteer to play golf when one could pick them out of the air.
