European Solheim Cup captain Carin Koch has named fellow Swedes Sophie Gustafson and Maria McBride as her vice-captains for the matches at Golf Club St. Leon-Rot in Germany in September.
Gustafson and McBride join Annika Sorenstam, also a Swede, to round out the vice-captains. Gustafson has played in eight Solheim Cups, while McBride, who has played under her maiden name of Hjorth, has made five appearances.
In 2013, the European team won the Solheim Cup for the first time on American soil in the then-23-year history of the event at Colorado Golf Club.
