The field of 64 is set for next week's revamped WGC-Cadillac Match Play Championship.

The top 64 players in the latest Official World Golf Ranking have qualified for the event at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. Tommy Fleetwood jumped from 66th to 55th in the world, booting Thomas Bjorn from the field.

The format for the event has changed to offer fans and TV partner NBC a chance to see the top golfers for more than one match in the somewhat unpredictable format.

The field will be divided into 16 groups of four that will play round-robin over the first two days of the event. The groups will be headed by the top 16 players in the OWGR, with each of the remaining three players randomly selected from one of three tiered groups based on world ranking. The top player from each group then advances to a bracket-style, single-elimination tournament.
