We've done plenty of golf-course vandalism stories here at Golf News Net. They typically center around someone in a vehicle -- truck, ATV, what have you -- doing some donuts somewhere on a property in the middle of the night. They often wreck a green or a fairway and it requires some emergency sodding to repair the damage.
This case is a bit different.
Langley Park Golf Club in the United Kingdom shared a photo of some terrible damage done to one of their greens. The vandals apparently took out the flag, then dug up a shallow grave of sorts in its place. To top it off, the vandals made a cross and placed it at the head of the hole they dug.

This is really awful, and it's not as simple (even if costly) of a repair as throwing up some new sod and calling it a day.
