The driving range is the golf equivalent of the trust fall. There are plenty of ways to injure yourself or someone else, but golfers are expected to practice without cowering in fear over sprayed shots -- namely, shanks.
This new golfer wasn't so lucky. In a 12-second video posted to a vague YouTube account, a golfer cold tops a ball so badly that is springs upward and drills him right in the head. Of course, the dude falls to the ground because he just got whacked in the head unexpectedly.
Even in my years at the driving range, I never saw someone hit themselves with a cold top. With a shank off the divider? Absolutely. But this is rare air.
