VIDEO: And now putting up a backstop is a trend

With 23 million golfers in the U.S. and millions more around the world, when a trick shot catches on, there are usually plenty of takers to offer their rendition.

First, it was a guy in Scotland who turned a 3-foot birdie putt into a 100-foot putt up a backstop and back down into the hole. Then an Aussie did the same trick, but with two balls at once off the putter blade at the same time.

By comparison, this version is a little tame. It's kinda short and there aren't multiple golf balls involved. But it goes to show there are a lot of ways to try this shot.

So maybe we need to have a contest...what do you think?
