It seems like every country has at least one golf hole that's so unique, so different, it is a destination for the extreme golfer.
In Ireland, that hole is at the Cliff House Hotel in Waterford. (Yes, than Waterford.) On one part of the beautiful cliffs overlooking the ocean, hotel owners have placed a driving range mat pointed toward a floating green in the sea. Guests can hit balls toward the floating green to get in a little practice before they venture off-property to play any of Ireland's great courses.
What's unique about the hole isn't only the venue, but also that the property uses biodegradable golf balls, so they disintegrate in an eco-friendly way about 48 hours after they hit the ocean.
