Hugh Grant had an addiction he just recently broke cold-turkey. Grant walked away from golf six months ago after being, in his words, obsessed with the sport for a dozen years. The British actor has gone back to playing tennis, crediting it for his return to better fitness.
In an interview to promote his new film "The Rewrite," Grant -- who played in last week's Alfred Dunhill Links Championship pro-am -- is happy to not be in the game's grip any longer.
"It never quite goes away, does it? Because it's like crack," Grant said. "Once it's in your system, that desire to hit another good shot, it's almost overwhelming."
"That was 12 years of my life: getting up in the middle of the night and practicing a new swing move in my underpants."
