Oops! Victor Dubuisson left his putter in a port-a-john

When you have to go, you have to go. Victor Dubuisson had to take a bathroom break on the 11th hole in his Ryder Cup debut alongside Graeme McDowell in an alternate-shot match against Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson.

He walked into the portable latrine with a putter in hand. He left without it. Whoops.

Vice-captain (one of five) Padraig Harrington had to go back into the port-a-john to retrieve the putter and bring it back to the Frenchman on the 12th. No, Rules buffs, that's not a violation.

So, if you're wondering what a vice-captain does, it's pretty much anything to keep the players loose and happy...and with all of their equipment.
