Davis Love III says no to call he become Tiger Woods’ swing coach

Davis Love III shut down any hope he would become Tiger Woods' next teacher.

In a Wednesday Instagram, Love III shared a screen capture of a GolfChannel.com column making overtures he take over as Woods' swing coach. DL3's caption dismissed the notion, saying, "Swing Coach, no. He's fine. Paddle Board, snowboard, fishing coach. Yes!"

Writer John Feinstein tried to make the case that Love would be the perfect fit for Woods. They're friendly. Love's family has an instructional background. Love doesn't really want to play the Champions Tour.

All of those things may be true, but it seems Love is content to move on from competitive golf when his days on the PGA Tour are through.
