Hunter Mahan is the new No. 1 in the FedEx Cup standings. With his win at The Barclays, Mahan moved up 61 spots from on the brink of playoff elimination next week to a certain spot in the Tour Championship for an eighth consecutive year. Rory McIlroy is now second.

Jason Day moved up 20 spots to seventh to put himself in contention for the FedEx Cup.

Seven players moved into the top 100 from Nos. 101-125, sending the likes of Lee Westwood packing for the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, Dustin Johnson, who remains on a leave of absence from the PGA Tour, dropped seven spots to 14th in the standings. If he makes the Tour Championship, Johnson will earn last-place prize money at East Lake.
