European Tour players give FootGolf a try, Miguel Angel Jimenez caddies

Ahead of this week's BMW International Open in Germany on the European Tour, 11 tour regulars exchanged their bag and 14 clubs for their feet and a soccer ball to play in the BMW FootGolf Challenge.

Bernd Wiesberger, the 28-year-old Austrian, won the World Cup-themed, one-hole event in a playoff over Francesco Molinari and Marcel Siem.

“Now I know why Austria did not qualify for the World Cup,” Wiesberger said. “They knew beforehand that I would be playing at the BMW International Open during the World Cup, so would be unable to join them in Brazil.”

Played on the 18th hole at BMW International Open host course Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof, FootGolf is like golf, except players use their feet to get a soccer ball into a 21-inch hole in as few kicks as possible.

And here's where it gets good: John Daly was in it...sort of. Daly posed for a picture ahead of the competition, but let his son, John, compete instead. Miguel Angel Jimenez was a caddie, basically dressed like he'd normally be on the golf course, but free to hold a cigar in his hand.

Oh, and Victor Dubuisson had an ace in the separate hole-in-one competition (hopefully not picture above).
