What's that? They didn't? They just changed their Twitter pictures and caused a massive stir over an 80 pixel x 80 pixel photo? What a swerve!
After Wozniacki won her first-round match at the U.S. Open -- tennis, not golf -- on Tuesday, the Danish former No. 1 and underwear model confirmed her undying love for McIlory, who has dipped to fourth in the world.
"He doesn't care how bad your day is," Wozniacki said. "He just wants to come up and lick your face."
Whoa.
Turns out, that's about her dog, Bruno, a Pomeranian.
Was there anything about Rory in the post-match newser? Doesn't sound like it. Then again, McIlroy did have breakfast at the Wozniacki family's U.S. Open compound, dressed like a Jehovah's witness, before heading to the New York Stock Exchange to ring the opening bell on Tuesday. So there's that.
