Every week of the PGA Tour season is different. The fields and venues change, and the trends we use to anticipate a player's performance any given week changes with it.
That's why, for GNN members, we've put together a weekly PGA Tour Cheat Sheet. The Cheat Sheet gives you a high-level understanding of the data that motivates our successful weekly model, including current form and course history.
For each player in the field, the Cheat Sheet shows:
- Their score in our weekly model, DraftKings price and early-week betting odds
- Finishing position and total strokes gained in all of the last five PGA Tour events in which they may have played
- Finishing position and total strokes gained in all of the last five years of this week's PGA Tour event in which they may have played
With the Cheat Sheet (which we recommend viewing at 75% zoom on your desktop browser), you can quickly see where players stack up on the short-term metrics that might guide your decision-making while seeing how those metrics compare to how our long-term model scores them.
Get the best of both worlds with our Cheat Sheet!
NOTE: PGA Tour event data for the 2023 FedEx Cup Fall is awkward. Every event played outside the United States (Zozo Championship, World Wide Technology Championship and Butterfield Bermuda Championship) doesn't have ShotLink data. The RSM Classic has multiple courses, so we only have strokes-gained data for the host course at Sea Island. All events are technically being played twice this season, so accessing full ShotLink data for the other events is challenging, and we're working with the Tour to figure out a workaround to backfill before the 2024 calendar year.
