The road to Chambers Bay and the 2015 U.S. Open began on May 4 with the first of 111 local qualifying events. The 18-hole tournaments run through May 21, with the players that survive moving on to 36-hole sectional qualifying, which starts overseas on May 25.
The 2015 U.S. Open will be played June 18-21 in University Place, Wash.
