President Barack Obama found himself playing golf on Sunday with Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon, co-hosts of ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption," at Congressional C.C. in Bethesda, Md.
After he, his staff and Secret Service detail left, Obama apparently left behind a piece of presidential memorabilia at the home to the 2011 U.S. Open. An Instagram user, larrydoh, posted a picture of a Titleist golf ball he found on the first hole of the famed Blue course carrying the number 44 (Obama's the 44th president) and a "POTUS" custom print on it.
Having played Congressional a few times, it's most likely Obama, a lefty, pulled his golf ball toward the driving range running parallel to the first hole, though there are woods well left off the fairway.
And just in case you're wondering if the photos are doctored or fake, Titleist has produced and displayed these custom Commander-in-Chief golf balls in the past.
