The 2015 LPGA Tour season will start next January in central Florida.

Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club announced in a posting on their website they'll be site to the season-opener beginning Jan. 28. The event, whose name is still to be determined, will be title sponsored by Coates Golf, with R+L Carriers as a presenting sponsor.

The four-round event will be played Wednesday through Saturday, with a 108-player field vying for a $255,000 first-place prize.

The Ocala private club opened in 1986 and hosted the Symetra Tour in the 1990s on its par-72, Ron Garl design.

In 2014, the LPGA Tour schedule began with the Pure Silk Bahamas Classic at Atlantis in the Bahamas, with Jessica Korda winning the $1.3 million event.
