VIDEO: Martin Kaymer’s Players tee shot on 17 barely stays dry

Martin Kaymer is leaking a lot of oil after the weather delay in the final round of The Players. He almost lost it all with his tee shot at the par-3 17th hole.

Kaymer's tee shot to the island-green hole takes a weird bounce off of the mounding around the lone pot bunker on dry land, then spins backward toward the front of the green. It nearly winds up in the hazard -- where it certainly would have ended up were it not for the rain delay.

Then, he flubs the chip for his second shot, leaving a 20-footer with 6 feet of break and makes the par to maintain a one-stroke lead heading to the finishing hole with a chance to win The Players.
