A pair of new Odyssey Golf putters, the Versa Jailbird and White Hot Pro Havok models, make their PGA Tour debut this week at the Sony Open in Hawaii.
The Jailbird is the latest offering in the Versa line, which promotes better putting accuracy through high-contrast black-and-white paint on the putter head. The mallet-style head has what the company terms Double Versa Technology in that a player looks at two wide swaths of white paint to give visual feedback on putter head path at address and through the stroke.
The Havok putter has a high-MOI face for stability, pushes the center of gravity lower and deeper into the head for a better , more consistent roll and does it all with a new gun metal finish to reduce glare.
Both putters have the newest version of the company's trademark White Hot face insert.
The Jailbird ($169.99) and Pro Havok ($159.99) putters debut this month at stores.
