This video is how you get people to join your golf club

A lot of country clubs are hurting for members. Between the shrinking number of players, how much its costs and how long it takes to play golf, the idea of joining a club isn't as attractive as it once seemed.

The folks at Granite Springs G.C. in Halifax, Canada, however, decided to try to showcase just how awesome and inexpensive it is to join their club.

In a 1 minute, 50 second ad posted to YouTube, the club pokes fun at itself, classic ads and more in trying to snag a few new members. The club advertises the benefits of being a member for the low initiation fee of $999.

It's worth the watch. Maybe some clubs in the United States could learn a thing or two from this commercial.
