Phil Mickelson is an athlete.
The guy can hit flop shots -- forward and backward -- en route to winning a handful of major championships and over 40 PGA Tour wins. He can bomb it 330 yards on the reg without batting an eye, or play an entire tournament without a driver because he can. He is a master at the turned-over "Happy Gilmore" running shot.
So is it really all that surprising that Mickelson appears to have a cannon for an arm?

That's what Callaway Golf revealed on Instagram on Wednesday when it shared video of Mickelson throwing (right-handed) passes to staffers during a commercial shoot in Las Vegas.
Mickelson completed personal biathlon by running the ping-pong table, as he is wont to do at team events like the cups, Presidents and Ryder.
Given his history of a pathetic vertical, don't expect Mickelson to be running track anytime soon, but the guy could probably win an inverse "Big Break: NFL," where golfers teamed up with has-been and never-was quarterbacks to determine who is the best passer.
