A young woman at the Presidents Cup entered the Golf Streaking Hall of Fame on Sunday at Muirfield Village G.C. when she sprinted naked-ish up the 18th fairway in honor of American savage Steve Stricker.
But she's not the first, and certainly won't be the last, to bear better than most at a golf tournament. So with one eye on the boss man coming around to your cubicle, take a look at these five even better golf streakers.
1985 Open Championship: Jake and the Grease Man
In the final round of the 1985 Open Championship, a streaker made their way through the galleries and into play at Royal St. George's. After successfully evading police for a little while, pro Peter Jacobsen took matter into his own hands, tackling the guy to the ground.
2003 U.S. Open: These are for you, Jim
During an otherwise boring U.S. Open in 2003, porn star Brittney Skye ducked under the ropes, sans shirt and made her way toward eventual winner Jim Furyk. Where her shirt would normally (or not?) be: the URL of an online casino marked on her body.
2010 Ryder Cup: Again, it's for you, Jim
Jim Furyk and streakers are magnetically attracted, apparently. At Celtic Manor in the 2010 Ryder Cup, Furyk and Luke Donald's Monday singles match was interrupted by a male streaker wearing a cartoon monkey over his crotch.
1995 Open Championship: Of course it involves John Daly
What would a streaking article be without a John Daly reference? No, Daly wasn't the one streaking, but his post-playoff celebration after winning the 1995 Open Championship was marred by a streaker with a sign marked onto his back pointing to his ass with the words "19th hole" on his back. Clever.
Thanks to Internet magic, here's a link to the guy recalling his streaking escapades from that day at the Home of Golf.
1997 Open Championship: Streaking in her stripes to Tiger
(Side note: Notice how this seems to happen almost exclusively in Europe?)
At Royal Troon in 1997, a woman decided she loved Tiger so much that she would prance around almost naked (she had on underwear) while painted up to look like a tiger.
THAT WAS FUN, RIGHT?!
