Henrik Stenson became the first European-born player to win the FedEx Cup on Sunday, taking the Tour Championship and, with it, the FedEx Cup and its $10 million first-place prize.

Stenson won the Tour Championship at East Lake at 13-under-par 267, 3 shots better than Dustin Johnson, Steve Stricker and 20-year-old Jordan Spieth.

Tiger Woods, who closed with 3-under 67, finished in a tie for 22nd place in the Tour Championship, but was runner-up in the FedEx Cup.

Steve Stricker improved into third place in the FedEx Cup by virtue of his co-runner-up finish. Makes skipping that elk-hunting trip worth it, right?
