All 30 players that qualified for the Tour Championship, the 2013 FedEx Cup finale, have a mathematical chance of winning the FedEx Cup and its $10 million first-place prize.
Naturally, however, some players have a better chance than others. The top five players in the field can win the FedEx Cup outright if they win the Tour Championship. Every player outside of the top five must win the Tour Championship and then have the players ranked above them finish poorly enough that the win is enough to capture the FedEx Cup.

No. 1 - Tiger Woods
• If he wins the Tour Championship he wins the Cup
• Has a reasonable chance of winning with a top-five finish
• Can finish as low as 29th and still have a mathematical chance of winning

• If he wins the Tour Championship he wins the Cup
• Has a reasonable chance of winning with a top-3 finish
