Golf courses are often wide, open spaces. Because of that fact, they make for nice helipads. Good thing.
A helicopter had to make an emergency landing on Monday at one of Bethpage State Park's golf courses on Long Island, N.Y., on Monday, according to WCBS radio.
A reporter for the station was on the grounds at the 18th green when he saw the chopper land. It was heading to New Jersey, according to the report, but weather conditions forced the pilot to land abruptly.
