Albatrossities: Watch golfer fail trick-shot attempt on epic scale

Golfers do dumb things. A lot. And often times, they get caught on video. That's where we here at Golf News Net come in with our new series, Albatrossities.

Maybe you can pull off a trick shot or two. Maybe you can balance a ball on your wedge a few times, or hit a putter a couple-hundred yards, or hit the ball pretty well on one foot. They're all nice tricks, but all patently safe, unless you faceplant while swinging away on one foot.

Here's a pro tip, however: don't stand on a wobbly, plastic lawn chair and try to swing the golf club. It'll end poorly.

That's precisely what happened to Callum Forsyth at Peebles Golf Club in Scotland last week at a club function. Of course, someone was prescient enough to know that the setup foretold of hilarious danger, and that's exactly what happened.

The club thought so much of this video that they created a YouTube account just to share this with the world.
