Tiger Woods has an early November date in Turkey. Woods has agreed to play in the Turkish Airlines Open on the European Tour Nov. 7-10.
The 77-player field will offer a $7 million prize in its first year as an official event on the European Tour schedule. A year ago, Woods played in the tournament's precursor, the Turkish Airlines World Golf Finals, an unofficial event pitting eight men against each other in a medal-match play format.
The Turkish Airlines Open will be the third of four events closing the European Tour season, culminating in the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
Colin Montgomerie's Maxx Royal course design will host the tournament.
