Woodland among familiar names missed Wyndham cut, FedEx Cup playoffs

Gary Woodland began the week at No. 130 in FedEx Cup points. He earned zero points by missing the cut at the Wyndham Championship and will now have the next five weeks off from the PGA Tour.

Woodland missed the cut by a shot at even-par 140. One more shot, namely a 6-foot putt for par at his last hole, would have given him a chance to crack the top 125.

Other familiar names that missed the cut and, therefore, the playoffs include:

  • John Daly
  • Roland Thatcher
  • Chris DiMarco
  • Vaughn Taylor
  • Erik Compton
