Despite Rory McIlroy putting on a 27-hole clinic on Sunday to capture his second major at the PGA Championship, the Ulsterman could not compete against the last day of the 2012 Olympics.

The final round of the PGA Championship on CBS drew a 3.9 overnight rating, according to Sports Media Watch. That's down 9 percent from last year and 43 percent from 2010, when Martin Kaymer captured the Wanamaker trophy and Dustin Johnson missed the playoff due to "Bunkergate."

It's the second lowest final-round rating for "Glory's Last Shot" since 1995, when Steve Elkington captured the title at Riviera over Colin Montgomerie.
