Rory McIlroy has not been playing his best golf of late, but proved this week he might be a crossover athlete, of sorts.

The world No. 2 was promoting EA Sports' Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 video game and took on the "Crossbar Challenge" - hitting a soccer goal crossbar with a golf ball from 150 yards away. It didn't take long for McIlroy to hone in on the target.

Though he made the shot look easy, McIlroy is still searching for form where it counts most. He was T-10 at the Irish Open two weeks ago and is preparing for next week's British Open at Royal Lytham and St. Annes.
