Ernesto the Prediction Iguana continued his hot hand into the playoffs, going 3-1, (1-1 in teasers). He hit with the Bengals (although they didn’t), the Packers (nobody else did:) and the OVER in the REDSKINS-packers game. His one loss was the VIKINGS-seahawks, which was well under.
This week the big guns host home games, not crappy division winners with mediocre 9-7 records. Whereas last week every visiting team won, this week will be different.
By the way, just as a side note, I’d suggest a peer support group for Blair Walsh, but it didn’t do any good for Ray Finkle…

PATRIOTS-chiefs OVER 38.5
Don’t look now, but the Chiefs have not only won 11 straight, but have gotten stronger along the way. First it was chip away at people, then it was push them around, then it was dominate. That ends this week (even though that 11 points is hard to walk away from. Between their surging offensive prowess and Tom Brady and Co., this should be a shootout.
BRONCOS +1/2 vs steelers
The Steelers are just too banged up. But won’t it be interesting to see Peyton Manning again…against one of the teams that gives him fits. The Steeler secondary will need its game of the year, but the front seven will chase whoever is at QB for Denver. As for Roethlisberger, is there any doubt as to his heart? You gotta play hurt, right Dan Jenkins?

CARDINALS -1.5 vs packers
Grab the popcorn, this one’s gonna be as much fun as Star Wars. The Cardinal defense will get one more big sack, pick, or fumble recovery, and the O-line will keep out Matthews and the rest of the Green Bay defense long enough for Palmer to turn the game into a track meet.
PANTHERS +3 vs seahawks
