The R&A is expanding the British Open Qualifying Series for 2017, with a total of 11 events that will determine 32 spots in the Open at Royal Birkdale.
A total of 11 tournaments, plucked from the PGA Tour, European Tour, Sunshine Tour, Asian Tour, Australasian Tour and Japan Tour, will offer spots in the Open to players not already exempt into the year's third major when the events are played.
