Smylie Kaufman either knows a good meme when he sees one, or he sympathizes with Harambe.

Kaufman took to Snapchat on Monday to show that he has "RIP Harambe" stamped on his 58-degree Cleveland Golf wedge as he heads into the Deutsche Bank Championship, second leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs.

Harambe is the 17-year-old gorilla shot and killed by Cincinnati Zoo officials in May when a child fell in its exhibit. The gorilla harmed the child, potentially unintentionally, leading to the killing. Since then, pockets of the Internet have turned Harambe into a meme -- "Dicks out for Harambe," is one twenty-something bros are using, while "Harambe was an inside job" is another that's even making it's way to the guys who normally shout about vegetables and starch on the PGA Tour.

The whole thing has gotten so out of hand that the Cincinnati Zoo deleted its Twitter account.
