The PGA Tour's 2016 FedEx Cup playoffs roll on to the second stage, the Deutsche Bank Championship, at the conclusion of The Barclays 2016 at Bethpage Black on Long Island, N.Y.

The Barclays field had the top 125 players in FedEx Cup points through the regular season. However, with the start of the playoffs, points are multiplied by four, with the winner of each playoff event getting 2,000 FedEx Cup points. At the end of The Barclays, the top 100 players in total points, adding in The Barclays, qualify for the Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston, ending on Labor Day.

Five players from outside the top 100 entering The Barclays played their way into the Deutsche Bank.

15. Sean O'Hair (108)
88. Sung Kang (122)
90. John Huh (111)
93. Tyrone Van Aswegen (104)
99. Derek Fathauer (118)

Meanwhile, that means five players who were in the top 100 starting the week are now out of the playoff chase.

102. Shane Lowry
104. Peter Malnati (93)
105. Robert Streb (95)
106. Lucas Glover (96)
107. Jonas Blixt (100)

After the Deutsche Bank, the top 70 players in combined points qualify for the no-cut BMW Championship. From there, the top 30 players qualify for the playoff and season finale, the Tour Championship.
