We have our first hole-in-one of the 2016 women's Olympic golf tournament, and it belongs to China's Xiyu Lin.

Xiyu made the ace on the par-3 eighth hole, measuring 140 yards, in Friday's third round at the Olympic Golf Course in Rio de Janeiro. Her ball landed just short of the hole, took a big bounce, then a small bounce and landed in the heart for a 1 on the card.

WATCH: Lydia Ko later aced the same hole!

That's the second ace on the eighth hole in the Olympic golf competitions, with South Africa's Jaco Van Zyl making an ace on the same hole during the men's Olympic tournament.

The eagle 1 got Xiyu to 1 under par on the round.
