The 2016 women's Olympic golf tournament marks the first time women will compete in the sport of golf in the Olympics, which returns to the Olympic program after a 112-year absence. A field of 60 players will convene at the Olympic golf course, designed by Gil Hanse, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for a 72-hole, stroke-play event.
The betting favorite going into the event is Lydia Ko, who is going off at 11-to-4 odds. She's followed by world No. 2 and Women's British Open winner Ariya Jutanugarn, who is off at 7-to-1. The last of golf's Big Three, Brooke Henderson, is representing Canada and starts at 11-to-1.
