The 2016 Barracuda Championship is played opposite the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, moving up on the schedule to accommodate the Olympics. The Reno-Tahoe, Nev., area event is played at Montreux Golf & Country Club and features players who weren't able to get in the no-cut WGC. The highest finishing player inside the top five that's not already heading to Royal Troon will get in the Open Championship.
Brendan Steele and Gary Woodland, players with good histories in this event (which, in itself, isn't actually good), are co-favorites this week at 12-to-1. Colt Knost, on a great run in late spring and early summer, is at 18-to-1. Jon Rahm, coming off a T-3 pro debut at the Quicken Loans National, goes off here at 22-to-1.
