Sergio Garcia saved two birdies on a single hole on Sunday at Oakmont Country Club in the final round of the 2016 U.S. Open.

On the 299-yard, par-3 eighth, Garcia first holed out a 30-yard bunker shot to make a birdie and get to 2 under par for the championship. After a Seve-esque fist pump, Garcia then made his way across and off the putting surface, picking up a wounded bird that was struggling around the green. Garcia tried to hand it to a USGA official inside the ropes, but, when he did, the bird flew away and landed on the ground. Fortunately, the bird was OK in the end, and Garcia did his good deed for the day.

Eventually, the bird was taken to the trees behind the eighth green and let go.

What would be a better deed? Winning his first major.
