Brooke Henderson is on fire on the LPGA Tour. The second-year player, who earned her status by winning last year's Cambia Portland Classic, has become a top-10 machine in 2016.
On Saturday at the Lotte Championship in Hawaii, the Canadian 18-year-old finished tied for 10th to earn her seventh consecutive top-10 finish on the LPGA circuit. She's made just eight starts this year.
Here are her results during the streak:
Coates Golf Championship - 2nd
ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open - T-9
HSBC Women's Champions - T-9
JTBC Founders Cup - T-4
Kia Classic - T-10
ANA Inspiration - T-10
Lotte Championship - T-10
She was T-21 in the curtain-opener at the Pure Silk Bahamas Classic. Whoa.
Henderson has moved up to seventh in the latest Rolex Rankings. If she can continue to finish in the top 10, she'll get closer to Lydia Ko. However, she has a long way to go to reach the LPGA record for consecutive top-10 finishes, which belongs to Karrie Webb, who did it in 16 consecutive events from 1999-2000.
