Nike Golf is bringing the design behind its Air Force 1 sneaker to the course with the new Lunar Force 1 G golf shoes.

Tony Finau will wear the shoes that are inspired by the long-produced shoe first released in 1982. Fitting of its profile, it's a hybrid shoe, using the company's Lunarlon cushioning and waffle-tread Integrated Traction in lieu of spikes.

In recent years, Nike has made an effort to bring some of its more popular sneaker designs to the golf market. This Lunar Force 1 G feels similar to 2012's release of the Dunk NG, the golf version of the Dunk line, complete with spikes. (A shoe I still have in my locker at my golf club.

The Nike Golf Lunar Force 1 G golf shoes will be available April 1 in white/white and black/white colorways and retail for $140 per pair.
