Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG) is making a golf ball, but will they release it?

Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG), which you'll be seeing a whole lot more of during pro golf TV coverage in 2016, is apparently ready to dip its toe in the golf ball market.

According to GolfWRX, the Arizona-based equipment company is seeding a new golf ball at some facilities.

The ball is called the Tour X6 and it appears on the USGA's list of conforming golf balls. The company has no other golf ball on the conforming list. Beyond that, we don't have additional details on the ball.

It's unclear if or when the company, owned by GoDaddy founder and golf fanatic Dr. Bob Parsons, would release the ball or if it's merely reserved for its growing tour staff. Were the ball to come to market, the price point would be of great intrigue considering the company sells golf clubs at a premium cost, on the very high end of the equipment spectrum.
