Spieth takes on awkward ‘God or science’ question from Australian junior

Jordan Spieth got one of his tougher questions of this year on Tuesday...from an Australian junior golfer.

Spieth, the defending champion in this week's Emirates Australian Open, held a junior clinic in the Sydney area, showing off his skills for the kids and fielding their questions. One, in particular, was probing.

A kid of 11 or 12, according to the Associated Press, asked Spieth, "Do you believe in God, or do you believe in science?" The implied question seemed to be if Spieth is an atheist, though it could also have been asking if Spieth is a creationist or not.

Reportedly, the two-time 2015 major winner responded quickly with, "God." Then he said, "That sure was an interesting one."
